How to Merge Duplicates in HubSpot Using Hublead and Koalify

With the Hublead integration enabled, you can easily import LinkedIn contacts and sync LinkedIn conversations to HubSpot. You can use this data to quickly identify and merge duplicate records with Koalify.

Here's how:

1) Hublead Custom Properties

Once Hublead is integrated, the following custom properties will be added to your HubSpot portal:

• LinkedIn Profile URL (Hublead)
• Upcoming Birthday (Hublead)

2) Koalify Duplicate rules

Koalify makes it easy to detect duplicates in HubSpot using these custom properties.
These are useful Koalify duplicate rules that include the Hublead custom properties:

• Linkedin Profile Url (Hublead) matches
• Linkedin Profile Url (Hublead) matches LinkedIn Url
• First Name, Last Name & Upcoming Birthday (Hublead) matches

3) Manually Merging Hublead Duplicates

You can easily merge duplicates manually using Koalify’s CRM cards.
To review duplicates, create a view with the following advanced filters:

Set the following advanced filters:

• Koalify Duplicate Rules is any of
  • Linkedin Profile Url (Hublead) matches
  • Linkedin Profile Url (Hublead) matches LinkedIn Url
  • First Name, Last Name & Upcoming Birthday (Hublead) matches

4) Bulk Merging Hublead Duplicates

If you'd rather merge duplicates automatically, you can use Koalify’s workflow action.
Set the following enrollment criteria:

• Koalify is Primary Duplicates is equal to False
• Koalify Duplicate Rules is any of
  • Linkedin Profile Url (Hublead) matches
  • Linkedin Profile Url (Hublead) matches LinkedIn Url
  • First Name, Last Name & Upcoming Birthday (Hublead) matches

Then, add the Koalify Workflow Action: "Merge Duplicate Contact"
